Order Fulfillment Times

Ready-to-Ship Products

Orders containing In-Stock Products are generally prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Expedited processing options are available to help speed up order handling and delivery times. To request the Same Day Processing please contact us via sales@capandgownoutlet.com or ph prior to placing your order. Additional charges may apply.

Orders Containing both Ready-to-Ship and Customized Products

If your order includes both Ready-to-Ship products and Custom Products, the entire order will follow the longer custom processing timeframe of approximately 5–7 weeks. Expedited processing is not available for orders containing custom items. Partial shipments are not available unless additional shipping charges are paid by the customer.

Please review your order carefully before checkout. By placing your order, you acknowledge and accept the extended processing timeframe for the entire shipment.

Shipping Options & Estimated Transit Times

Please note that order preparation time and carrier transit time are separate estimates. Total delivery timing will vary based on both processing and shipping selection.

Economy & Standard Shipping

  • Order Handling Time: 1–3 business days
  • Estimated Carrier Transit: 3–15 business days after dispatch

Standard shipping services may include:

  • USPS Priority Mail
  • FedEx Ground
  • UPS Ground
  • UPS Three Day Select

Carrier Transit Estimates

  • USPS Ground Advantage: Approximately 3–12 business days depending on destination
  • USPS Priority Mail: Approximately 3–8 business days
  • FedEx Ground: Approximately 3–7 business days depending on destination
  • UPS Ground: Approximately 4–7 business days
  • UPS Three Day Select: Approximately 3–4 business days

Express & Priority Shipping

  • Order Handling Time: Same day or within 1 business day
  • Estimated Carrier Transit: 1–4 business days after shipment

  • FedEx Priority Overnight
  • FedEx First Overnight

Expedited Delivery Estimates

  • FedEx Express Saver: Approximately 3-4 business days after shipment
  • FedEx 2Day: Approximately 2 business days after shipment
  • FedEx Priority Overnight: Delivery on the next business day
  • FedEx First Overnight: Next business day delivery by approximately 1:00 PM

Shipping timelines provided by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless specifically stated by the carrier.

Business Day Information

Business days are Monday through Friday and exclude weekends and recognized holidays.

Orders are not packed, processed, or shipped on non-business days. Carrier transit calculations also exclude weekends and holidays.

The shipment date itself is not counted as the first transit day. Delivery estimates begin on the following business day.

USPS shipments may require additional handling time and do not include guaranteed arrival dates.

Production & Manufacturing Timeframes

We take pride in producing quality merchandise with careful attention to detail.

Some specialty items, including personalized or custom-manufactured products, may require extended production schedules prior to shipment. Manufacturing lead times for these items may range from 5–7 weeks depending on product type and order volume.

Inventory Availability

In rare situations, an item may become unavailable after an order has been submitted.

If this occurs, our support team will contact you to discuss available options, which may include:

  • Waiting for replenishment
  • Selecting a substitute item
  • Updating or canceling the order

Backordered items may require additional fulfillment time.

Shipping Delays & Carrier Liability

Estimated delivery dates are provided for convenience only and should not be considered guaranteed arrival dates.

Unexpected shipping interruptions may occur due to:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Increased holiday or seasonal order volume
  • Transportation or logistics disruptions
  • Customs processing delays for international shipments

Once a package has been transferred to the shipping provider, delivery operations are managed solely by the carrier.

We are not liable for transit delays, missed delivery estimates, weather-related interruptions, or packages marked as delivered by the carrier.

Claims involving missing packages after confirmed delivery should be directed to the shipping provider.

FedEx Service Guarantee

FedEx service guarantees and refund eligibility are governed entirely by FedEx policies and terms.

FedEx Money-Back Guarantee Policy

Refunds are not available for delays caused by circumstances outside of carrier control, including weather events and transportation interruptions.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all shipping information before completing checkout.

We cannot be responsible for:

  • Shipments delayed due to incorrect addresses
  • Undeliverable or abandoned packages
  • Packages confirmed delivered by the carrier

If tracking shows a completed delivery but the package cannot be located, customers should contact the carrier directly for assistance.

Refused or Returned Shipments

Packages returned by the carrier as refused or undeliverable are not eligible for complimentary reshipping.

Additional shipping charges will apply if the customer requests the package to be shipped again.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

International Orders

We proudly ship to many countries worldwide.

International shipments may be subject to:

  • Import duties
  • Customs taxes
  • Brokerage or clearance fees
  • Government-imposed charges

All international fees and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Order Updates & Tracking

A shipment confirmation email with tracking details will be sent once your order leaves our facility.

Tracking updates may require 1–2 business days to appear within the carrier’s system.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Requests to modify or cancel an order must be submitted before the order enters shipment processing.

After an order has shipped, changes and cancellations are no longer possible.

Returns

Eligible return requests must be initiated within 5 days of delivery.

Returned merchandise must be:

  • Unused
  • Unworn
  • Unopened
  • In original condition

Once an order has shipped, packages cannot be rerouted, intercepted, or redirected.
