Delaware Valley University

Delaware Valley University (DelVal) holds its commencement ceremony each May on Robert A. Lipinski Field at James Work Memorial Stadium. Graduates and faculty participate in a formal procession, and regalia orders are handled via DelVal’s Herff Jones store; regalia can be picked up at the campus bookstore in early April.

DelVal’s academic gown colors differ by degree: the bachelor’s gown is green with full pointed sleeves, while the master’s gown is black. The doctoral gown features bell-shaped sleeves and velvet facing, with velvet panels and sleeve bars either in black or in the color representing the graduate’s field of study.   • Alpha Sigma Lambda Adult Honor Society: burgundy and gold tassel (for its regalia)

DelVal’s faculty regalia is governed by traditional academic dress; doctoral robes include colored velvet and hoods, though a full discipline‑by‑discipline color chart is not publicly posted on their commencement page.
