Examples include:Ceremony & Ordering Logistics
GGC schedules commencement ceremonies by school (e.g. Health Sciences; Science & Technology; Business; Liberal Arts), with separate sessions. Graduates can order their cap and gown (and other regalia) via the official campus bookstore (managed by an external provider) — generally with deadlines (e.g. by Nov. 10 for home delivery, for the Fall commencement) if they want cap-and-gown delivered or sent to the bookstore. Honor cords/stoles for recognized societies are distributed through the college (e.g. via the “Belonging Center”) ahead of the ceremony.
Note: To confirm the exact colors of the graduation gown, cap, tassel, honor cords, and stoles for your specific program at Georgia College and State University, you can reach out directly to the college's administration or the office responsible for commencement and student services. They can provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding academic regalia.
This official regalia set follows the traditions of Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC), suitable for bachelor’s, master’s (and where applicable doctoral) commencements.
Perfect for graduation ceremonies, commencement photos, and academic memorabilia. Ensure you select the correct discipline/color when ordering hoods, tassels or honor cords.
