Goldey–Beacom College

GBC holds one annual commencement ceremony each spring for students who complete degree requirements during the academic year; summer‑term completers may participate only if they finish before the ceremony.

Participation in commencement requires students to: complete an Application to Graduate, pay a $95 Graduation Application Fee (which covers “the student’s diploma, regalia (cap and gown), and other expenses related to Commencement”).

Gown and cap (regalia) are provided under that fee; graduates collect regalia (cap & gown) at “Grad Fest & Regalia Pick‑Up” ahead of the ceremony.

The College catalog and 2025‑26 commencement page describe all of the administrative graduation requirements (academic coursework, GPA, financial obligations, loan exit counseling, if applicable) for degree conferral.

GBC Graduation Regalia Kit (Cap & Gown)

• Official Regalia Included: Cap (mortarboard) and gown issued by Goldey‑Beacom College under the Graduation Application Fee. No additional purchase required for participation.
• Simple, Traditional Academic Dress: Classic academic gown and black mortarboard — standard attire for commencement procession and ceremony.

• Clear Process for Graduation: Application to Graduate, financial clearance, and completion of required forms — then regalia is ready for pick‑up and commencement participation.
• No Official Public Color Scheme: Goldey‑Beacom College does not provide publicly accessible information on tassel colors, hood linings, honor cords or stoles by major or degree level.
• External Ordering Not Recommended: Because no official color‑code is published, any tassels, cords, or hoods sold externally claiming to match GBC official colors may not align with actual institutional regalia.
