Monroe Community College

Monroe Community College hosts its annual commencement ceremony to honor graduates completing their degree and certificate programs. The 2025 ceremony took place at the Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial, with processional, speeches, degree presentations and recessional traditions marking this milestone event. Graduates assemble according to their school of study and process into the arena for the formal conferral of associate degrees and certificates.

All candidates participating in commencement must wear the traditional academic regalia, including the mortarboard graduation cap and graduation gown. Caps and gowns are provided at no charge and must be picked up in advance from the MCC Bookstores on the Brighton or Downtown Campus before the day of the ceremony.
