Monroe County Community College hosts its annual commencement ceremony each spring to recognize students who have completed degree and certificate requirements. The 58th Annual Commencement Ceremony welcomes graduates, faculty, administrators, and family members to celebrate academic achievement in a formal academic procession. The event includes student addresses, faculty introductions and the official conferral of associate degrees.

Graduates are required to purchase an official cap and gown package to participate in the commencement ceremony. Academic regalia includes the classic mortarboard graduation cap and traditional black graduation gown, which reflects long‑standing academic attire traditions.
